We’re Scott and Cindy Bowers, the husband‑and‑wife team behind BOLT — Bowers Outdoor Lighting Team. Scott brings years of safety‑driven experience as an OSHA Officer and Certified Instructor, ensuring every installation is completed with precision, professionalism, and the highest safety standards.

Cindy manages the day‑to‑day operations at BOLT, backed by more than 20 years of office management experience and a lifelong connection to the electrical trade. As the daughter and granddaughter of Master Journeyman Electricians, she learned this craft firsthand — often apprenticing on job sites with her dad and grandfather. If you’ve ever ridden Racer 75 (formerly the Rebel Yell) or White Water Canyon at Kings Dominion, you’ve experienced a piece of her family’s legacy; 

her dad helped build them.

We’re a family of four with two sons — one grown and one in his pre‑teen years — and an energetic Aussie who keeps us on our toes. After years of vacationing in South Carolina, we made it our home nearly seven years ago and have loved being part of this community ever since.
